Sessions are held in a private, comfortable setting, and typically run for 50 minutes. In our first session, we'll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping for. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out — we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. At the end of the session I will provide a summary of my impression and recommend a treatment approach.
I offer in-person sessions in Brisbane as well as telehealth appointments via secure video or phone.
Session fee: $250.
Medicare rebate: $145.25
Out of pocket: $104.75
If you are experiencing financial difficulties, we can discuss options to make treatment more affordable.
To claim the Medicare rebate, it is necessary to first obtain a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist. You may be eligible for up to 10-rebateable sessions per calendar year.
If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible to claim rebates for psychological services. The level of cover and any waiting periods vary between providers and depends on your policy. Note that you cannot claim both a Medicare rebate and private health insurance for the same session.
